Curious as to your blog which details the guests at a wedding. Mrs. Maud Hall and Charles Hall may be linked to my family of Halls. More information would be awesome! Thanks a bunch for any information you can provide on these two. Bobbi

What a great find! I was able to locate my great-grandfather's death certificate after searching all over Ohio and Illinois over a span of 25 years as I did not know the date or place of his death! So you can only imagine my delight when I discovered this wonderful piece of data! I want to thank all those who have made this site possible. Helen Murphy, Tennessee.

Hi,

I saw the info in your Michigan Genealogy book about Max Allardt- the Michigan agent sent to Hamburg to recruit Germans to come to MI.

I have looked high and low for copies of any of his Der Michigan Wegweiser. Have you found any?

[...] Last year I wrote a biographical sketch of H.E. (Harlon) WINCHESTER, a Michigan Civil War soldier. He did not die serving the Union; however, I still wanted to honor his service to his country. As far as I know, he is not one of my ancestors, but I have an interest in his family.
